Frequently asked questions

We’re awkward in front of the camera, will you help us?

How would you describe your photography style?

My style is documentary and emotion-driven, with an emphasis on presence over perfection.

The images you receive will feel natural, timeless, and lived-in, not overly posed or trend-heavy. I focus on real connection, honest emotion, and the moments that happen when you’re fully in it with your people.

You’ll see a balance of clean, intentional portraits and candid moments woven together to tell the full story of your day. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s memory. Photos that bring you back to how it all felt, not just how it looked.

If you’re drawn to wedding photos that feel genuine, nostalgic, and deeply personal, this approach will resonate with you.

You’re not alone. Almost every couple I work with tells me this.

My approach is rooted in guidance, not stiff posing. I’ll give you simple directions when it helps you feel comfortable, where to stand, what to do with your hands, gentle prompts that encourage natural interaction, and let moments unfold organically.

You’ll never be expected to perform, hold a pose for too long, or act like someone you’re not. Most of the time, couples forget the camera is even there, and that’s when the most meaningful photos happen. The goal is for your images to reflect how the day actually felt, not how it looked on a Pinterest board.

If you value photos that feel relaxed, lived in, and true to you, you’re in the right place.

How do you photograph candid moments on a wedding day?

Candid moments come from trust, awareness, and knowing when not to intervene.

I stay observant and intentional, paying close attention to the people and energy around you so I can anticipate moments before they happen. Rather than constantly directing or interrupting, I give space for real interactions to unfold naturally.

When guidance is needed, during portraits, transitions, or moments where couples feel unsure, I’ll gently step in. When emotions are unfolding organically, I step back and document things as they are.

This balance allows your gallery to feel natural, emotional, and deeply personal, a true reflection of your wedding day. The result is a gallery that feels less like a production and more like a memory.

How many photos will we receive from our wedding?

On average, you can expect approximately 50–75 fully edited images per hour of coverage.
For a full wedding day, this often results in 600–900+ images, depending on the flow of the day, guest count, and events.

I prioritize quality and storytelling over arbitrary numbers. Every image you receive is thoughtfully edited and intentionally selected to tell the full story of your day from quiet moments to big celebrations.

When will we receive our wedding photos?

Your full wedding gallery will be delivered within 6–8 weeks. Sneak peeks are typically sent within 72 hours so you have something to relive and share shortly after your day.

I believe your photos deserve care and attention, not rushed edits, and delivery timelines are built to ensure consistency, quality, and intention.

Do you include a second photographer?

Yes,a second photographer is included in most wedding collections or added when the timeline and guest count benefit from additional coverage.

A second photographer allows for more comprehensive storytelling, including alternate angles, additional candid moments, and simultaneous coverage when events overlap. I’ll always guide you on whether a second photographer makes sense for your day.

Do you offer prints, albums, or heirloom products?

Yes. I offer professionally printed albums and fine art prints designed to last for generations.

Your photos deserve more than living on a hard drive. Albums and prints turn your images into tangible keepsakes, something you can hold, revisit, and share with future generations. I’ll guide you through design options and help you choose pieces that fit your style and home.

What happens if it rains or the weather is bad on our wedding day?

Weather is one of the few things we can’t control, but it rarely ruins a wedding day.

I plan with flexibility in mind and will help you create backup options when needed. Some of the most emotional and beautiful images happen in unexpected conditions. If adjustments are necessary, we’ll make them calmly and intentionally.

Your experience always comes first, and your photos will reflect the energy and emotion of the day, rain or shine.

What should we wear for  photos?

Once you’re booked, I’ll send guidance on outfits, colors, and styling that photograph beautifully and feel true to you.

In general, I recommend wearing something comfortable, timeless, and reflective of your everyday style. Movement, texture, and neutral tones photograph especially well, but personal style always matters more than trends.

The goal is for your photos to feel natural and authentic, not like you’re wearing a costume.

Do you travel outside of New Jersey? Is there a travel fee?

YES! I regularly photograph weddings throughout New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, and destination locations.

Travel within a certain radius of New Jersey is typically included. For weddings requiring extended travel, accommodations or flights, custom travel pricing may apply. Everything is discussed transparently, so there are no surprises.

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

Most couples book 9–18 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season dates.

Because I take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure an elevated experience, dates can fill quickly. If your wedding date and location are set, I recommend reaching out sooner rather than later.

Can we customize our wedding photography package?

Yes, collections can be customized to fit your timeline, priorities, and vision.

Whether you’re adjusting coverage hours, adding Super 8, or tailoring the experience to your day, I’m happy to help build something that feels aligned and intentional.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Flexible payment plans are available to help make booking more manageable.

Details are outlined clearly in your proposal so you can choose a plan that works best for you.

How do we know if we’re a good fit?

If you value presence over perfection, real moments over forced poses, and want photos that feel like memories, we’re likely a great fit.

I work best with couples who trust the process, want to be present on their wedding day, and care deeply about how it felt. If that resonates with you, I’d love to connect.

Are you insured? Can you provide a certificate of insurance (COI)?

Yes, I’m fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance upon request. This is commonly required by venues, and I’m happy to coordinate directly when needed.

Is an engagement session included?

Engagement sessions are included in most wedding collections and can also be added to any package if not already included
